Tasty but too sweet! Try 1c of sugar next time. Especially if frosting will also be sweet. Took about 45min to bake, maybe since I used coconut milk for buttermilk.
Chicken thighs were a bit dry. Too salty, not sweet enough. Better with more potatoes. Use less salt in chicken broth seasoning too. Subbed rice vinegar for sake.
Original is good! Tried adding 1 tsp. cinnamon, decreasing sugar to 1/4 c., and mixing in raisins/dried blueberries once cooled. Delicious! B/c of less sugar, a little too salty. Try 1/4 tsp. salt next time. Interested to try subbing maple syrup for brown sugar/honey, and mixing in chia seeds or other nutritional mix ins. Set aside 30min for this. 10/25: made w/o cinnamon, and baked dried blueberries into it. So good! A little less than 1/2 tsp. was great.
