12/15/25 4 stars. Used steam in the bag peas and carrots, would probably be better with fresh. Added 3/4 red bell pepper. Accidentally went overboard on soy sauce (prob 6-7 tb for 4.5 c rice)
12/6/25 A great soup. Forgot to get white beans, subbed garbonzo beans and it was almost as good (overall do prefer the white beans). Updated recipe to reflect need for much more spinach (original called for two cups, needs at least 4-6)
Made Thanksgiving 2025. A good recipe, but double wrapping my breakaway pan with 2 layers foil didn't keep the water bath out. Or maybe Sam let some in when removing from oven (got a late start, cake wasn't ready to come out til midnight with Mom's oven temp being too low and how late I began)
