These never disappoint! I chilled the dough for several hours, and I think it improved the cookies. Be watchful on bake time. Sadly, determining when to take them out of the oven is both art and science!
The husband was a fan. I subbed rolls bought from my local bakery for the Hawaiiain buns. I omitted the cheddar cheese as it felt like too much cheese, but doubled(ish) the butter sauce.
