This one was not it, chief. I don't know if it was the cheap Aldi coffee I used or what. May try on another cheap cut with a good coffee to see how that turns out before writing this one off as a no-go
Sauce was a bit thin, may have been because of my putting a little more water in. But the flavor is there. Definitely a repeat. Used Penne due to it being what I had on hand
Scaled it down to 6 servings so the seasonings didn't scale too well. Only had a pound of beef as well. Let sit for at least 10 minutes before eating one if you intend to eat one of them right away. Let the others cool for a while before freezing, put one in fridge to defrost in morning so it's ready to be microwaved later.
First baking experience. Good news, it was fully cooked. Bad news, I didn't give it enough time to cool and it self-destructed. Taste turned out well, though
390°F oven, 18-22 mins, flip halfway through. Preheat cast iron for 5-10 mins before putting the chicken in the pan. Apply half glaze before putting in, half after flipping. Let rest for 5 mins before serving. I threw the garlic and ginger from the marinade into the skillet, gave it some extra flavor to soak into the rice when served
