This was even worse than mid. There was just no difference in texture or taste. It felt like an even weirder version of mac and cheese with hotdogs. I do not plan on trying this again.
This was amazing! We really didn't change too much on this recipe, and I thought it was delicious. Some of the hashbrowns didn't quite stick to one of the salmon. It still tasted great though!
Loved this recipe! It definitely needed more spices, so whenever I reheated leftovers, I added a bunch of salt and some ranch seasoning, topped it with cheese, and served it with some cheesy bread. It was delicious!
Kind of tried to stick to the recipe? Can't remember. I used the entire box of Walmart lasagna noodles and the entire big can of pasta sauce. Next time, I think I should definitely use two. It was pretty dry.
I halved the recipe since it served more than we needed. We didn’t add any beans since we aren’t fans of them. We used 1/2 a bag of pepper & onion blend from Walmart, which worked great. We used a small can of green chili peppers since we couldn’t find the adobo ones. We added an entire container of beef broth and just eyeballed the spices. We didn’t add any tomato sauce and instead added a can of the Walmart brand "hot" Rotel tomatoes to add some texture. I ate mine with a dollop of sour cream, shredded cheese, and Fritos. Next time, I want to try to sear the bacon and sausage in a separate pan before putting it into the big pot to add some texture. It was a little too spicy as well, so I need to taste more as I go next time.
