I think executed properly but basically tastes like sugar. Would like to tweak to make the filling more distinct and flavorful. Cooking the coconut and boiling the sugar both took longer than written. Would boil the sugar a little longer til it’s browner than you’d think in order to get a deeper orange color
Turned out great. Used the recommended curry brick. Swapped red pepper for peas. Should have added it a little after carrots rather than at the end when peas are called for. Sauce took way less time then predicted to reduce down
Turned out amazing. Jam was pretty solid and didn’t spread well. Would mix first to a more liquid texture. Baked for 55 and turned out gooey side of good, would try 60 for more firmness to spread butter on
