didnt have a meat hammer so stabbed it with a knife repeatedly took an extra 5 mins at 425 to get the middle to 160. thus didnt broil for as long bc i assumed that wouldnt help the middle thus not as glazed as i wanted but fine otherwise. next time find something where u cut the chicken first because the middle was bland. rice finished first but not more than 15 mins early so thats alright. put half of each in a bento for the next day
worked! needed the whole 30 mins. covered in tin foil for the last six minutes worked great. rice took about 20 mins but was started late so they lined but perfectly. soak rice next time.
made for 3 drumsticks. accidentally used two tbps of oil still instead of one and accidentally added paprika only at the last minute. still very good! used paper towel as brush. stabbed raw chicken with knife to tenderize must have worked because very soft. cooked fourty mins exactly. used tin foil instead of parchment paper which worked 100% fine except not much to baste with.
