Used Califia half & half (coconut cream and almond milk) for my dairy free milk in the bread pudding custard. Skipped brandy, none on hand. Let rest 30 minutes before baking as instructed and omg! The sauce on top is critically important and very tasty.
Used dried cherries for my fruit ingredient. Decaf instant coffee was what I had on hand, it is SUPER DARK and the agave called for in the recipe is not enough to balance it (used the amount called for). Easy to fix by adding more agave to your yogurt and granola bowl. If I make this again I might use a different sweetener like honey or maple syrup and maybe add extra to counter the coffee if I use instant. I may just sub the called for coffee with actual coffee or cold brew concentrate instead which would probably be a little nicer flavor-wise.
