I didn't add all the sugar as per the recipe (it would have been excessively sweet), and added some elderflower syrup in the heavy cream to give it some flowery notes that balance the sting of the lime 🍋‍🟩 🌸
As a first attempt of key lime pie, I'm definitely impressed! The recipe is suuuuper easy and quick to make!
(I also added a couple drops of blue food colouring, that with the yellow of the condensed milk give a nice, fresh green colour)
