This is it still raw of course but it was cooked over 1.5 lbs of baby yellow potatoes. And I used grass fed butter for the compound butter which had the most beautiful flavor. SO good!!
1 portion out of the 10 from this shepherds pie. I didn’t follow this recipe exactly, but I used it for the slow cooking instructions! Yummy and hearty!
These are SO good! I used salted butter and added a bit of garlic salt to the milk mixture, as well as white pepper instead of black pepper. Lastly, I didn’t have milk but I did have heavy whipping cream, so I did 1/4 c. heavy cream and 3/4 c. water along with the buttermilk and melted butter. It worked perfectly! These will be the top layer of some shepherds pie :)
This was actually 2 weeks ago but this is seriously the best asparagus recipe ever!! I season it with garlic salt and pepper. Also I’m only ever getting asparagus from Sam’s Club from now on - regular grocery store bunches of asparagus never have quite enough.
