Would add cinnamon and maple syrup to the batter. Used cashew milk which is thick so might add more liquid next time if using but that could be the maple syrup
Made a half recipe which barely made 2 waffles but were so light and crispy! Would recommend at least making a whole recipe or double/triple for more. 1 recipe likely yields 3 waffles on our iron.
Pretty solid flavor. Don’t think I added enough liquid from the beans so was a bit dry. Would definitely recommend just adding chicken stock next time and not worry about saving enough liquid from the beans. Maybe just make those in the instant pot, seal in the flavor?
Used coconut cream and was quite thick, might cut that down to half I you don’t have the “lite” stuff. Was extra tasty with some frothed whole milk with maple syrup and cinnamon
