Made this for my parents’ birthdays. Everyone loved it and I still get compliments about how good it was til this day! The moist cake and crunchy pistachios came together in perfect nutty, chocolatey harmony.
Made this in mini format and instead of puréeing the apples, I left them as is and it’s delicious!! They look like mini pies instead of pop tarts but the taste with the icing is still mouthwatering
