A & I made these for Christmas day - they rose massively in the oven and then sank back down, and were too sweet and solid for my liking. The decor pre baking also sank right in so we had to add more sprinkles after they came out of the oven.
Cookie Monster's Surprise Cookies You need: 1. SURPRISE! Cookie Dough! You all OUT of cookie dough? I not surprised. You want to make more? Just turn to Volume 1. 2. Cookie filling. You can use nuts, raisins, jam, jellybeans, chocolate chips, peanut butter, chocolate mint patties, or any other delicious cookie filling. Roll dough out flat (about 1/4" thick). Use glass to cut out round cookies. Put a little filling on one of your cookies. Now put another cookie on top. Pinch edges together to keep filling inside. Do this with LOTS of cookies with LOTS of different fillings. Heat oven to 400° Put cookies on ungreased cookie sheet. Put in oven and cook until cookies are LIGHTLY BROWNED. That will take about ... oh ... eight minutes. Now you ready for big surprise? Cookies all LOOK ALIKE! ME NOT KNOW WHICH ONES HAVE WHAT INSIDE WHAT ME GOING TO DO? Me guess me have to ... TASTE THEM ALL!
