Don't think mom's recipe had celery or this much wine. The wine did cook down so it wasn't an issue but would probably omit the celery in the future. Also, would probably season the chicken more in the future or marinade it in advance
The bacon onion cheese mixture was incredible. However, we tried to make this with gluten free flour and it was terribly dry. We added extra xanthan gum, oil, and an egg but it did not create a rollable dough. 5/5 flavors but 1/5 dough.
A favorite recipe. Super easy and - if you buy the big bag of frozen blueberries from Aldi - I pretty much always have the ingredients around the house
